Just in case you are still wondering why all new posts on your or other sites show a big fat nothing where Twitter share counts used to be displayed, it's because in November 2015 Twitter stopped supporting share counts on tweet buttons.
Does it mean you are out of luck?
Not by a long shot, as you can imagine - if someone closes the door, we find a window.
So here are two of my favorite tools to make up for the absence of the official Twitter share counts.
♨ TwitCount: TwitCount is as good as it gets when it comes down to adding Twitter share counts back to your site:
After you add the TwitCount widget on your site we will start doing API calls to the official API in order to count the URL mentions on the fly.
You'll need to connect your Twitter account to allow TwitCount to do the calls.

♨ BuzzSumo’s Chrome extension - gives anyone access to the number of interactions on a post.

There are a few other tools out there, but personally I don't think they work well or are for the masses.
