The new update will make it easier to find bits information like addresses, membership numbers and package tracking numbers that are sometimes buried in your emails.
No more digging through individual emails to find what you're looking for, in other words.
Are you an Inbox user? How do you like it?
(personally, I find it a lot less distracting and more productive that Gmail itself)
