Skype wants to remind us that it it too is a social network with the launch of its own social sharing buttons.
You can see the new Skype button in action at MSN.com and Sify.com in India.
Developers can also add the Skype share button to their own websites, where there are four different designs suited for either mobile or desktop.
As with other share buttons, when you click the Skype incarnation, you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Skype credentials, after which you’ll be able to share links with friends on Skype, alongside a message.
It remains to be seen how many people will actually choose to use the buttons...
