Google+ updates: better community moderation, improved notifications, photo comments, more

Google+ updates: better community moderation, improved notifications, photo comments, more

Starting “over the next few weeks”...

1. Users will be able to embed both still images and animated GIFs into comments on posts.

💃 💃 💃

2. New notifications center will roll out on the web where you can see and manage your recent activity on Google+.

3. Community owners and moderators will have more control over who posts what with approved posting (no word on what it means.)

4. Google is going all-in on the new Google+ - it will be switching current and new users to the new UI by default. For now, users will still be able to switch back to the classic Google+, but that will most likely go away soon.

If you are still undecided about the new G+, the decision has been made for you.

Better learn how to use it and get used to it!

I published a full tutorial to the new G+ at TrafficGenerationCafe.com: http://ift.tt/1QQCnoK.

5. For businesses, Google is also making Google+ a core service for Google Apps users, pushing Communities and Collections as easy ways to share ideas and collaborate with team members.

There you have it!
